As February arrives, the flowers begin to appear to welcome spring. Many varieties get a head start on the good weather, even though in many places the frosts will continue into March.

At Rachel&Co, the most advanced flowers are Dianthus (carnations) and Dimorphotecas (daisies).

Dianthus

If we enter the world of Dianthus, our production takes an important projection on the market, because many of the varieties and formats that our growers work with are available from the beginning of January.

Among the Dianthus varieties we can find the Carnelia, Bacco, Mondrian, I Love You, Pink Kisses and our “Dianthus Collection” range, which includes a large variety of small-flowered fragrant carnations and offers you an assortment of the best flowers suitable for the sales week.

The sizes are also very diverse and produced in pots of 10.5, 12, 13 and 17, planters of 27 and 40, and bowls of 23.

The colour, fragrance and containers will attract the attention of customers who want to decorate their balconies, gardens or windows (if they live in an area where it is still cold at night). It is a plant that adapts to the low temperatures we still undergo, and can flower almost all year round. Put them in full sun, if possible, and remove the faded flowers regularly for a long blooming period.

Dimorphoteca

On the other hand, I have also chosen the Dimorphoteca as February’s flower. Who can resist daisies when the good weather arrives?

The quality achieved at Rachel&Co in the production of this flowering plant is such that it is endorsed by our quality mark -lou lou®-.

The volume achieved in the usual formats of C13 and C17, together with its usual range of colours, make it stand out among our customers, as all the series are served as a large compact and very homogeneous clump of buds.

We must sell it buttoned, like almost all our flowers, so that you always have buds in your garden and at the same time, they can arrive at the customer’s home. Enjoying the explosion of a bud on a beautiful flower, until it fades, is a real gift for the flower lover.

Why does -lou lou®- sponsor these Dimorphotecas? Apart from the great care and affection that our producer gives to the plant, without altering the market price and to give a plus, he adds to each series a slow-release fertilizer to help it to continue to evolve in your customer’s home much longer, extend the life of the plant and its flowering, obtaining a great success of survival.

The cheerful colours are concentrated in white, pink, lilac, orange and yellow, but also some more in small quantities, which are grown as test production for future seasons.

The lou lou®-lovers were very enthusiastic about our Dimorphoteca last spring, so we have increased the production for this one.

The days are passing by and we are starting the hard work, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any information. The whole Rachel&Co team is waiting to help you.

I invite you to highlight these plants in your garden because of the assortment we offer at Rachel&Co. A wide range of options for the most demanding customers!
